History

charliesgrandfather.JPGClive’s Fruit Farm is situated on an area known as Willingsworth. It is nestled between the Malvern Hills to the West and the River Severn to the East.

A farm was established here in 1840 by Thomas Dovey and was farmed by the same family until 1891 when Charles Morse took over. According to the census of that year he is described as ‘Farmer and Milkman’. In 1896 William Drinkwater is recorded as a ‘market gardener’ at Willingsworth up until 1918 when Felix Clive (Charlie’s grandfather) acquired the land.
